…but American photographer Bob Carey has chosen something a bit different -wearing a pink tutu.

…a man dons a pink tutu to take pictures of himself around America for his wife, who has been diagnosed with cancer. Bob Carey’s portraits have inspired people all around the world and Weekend TODAY caught up with him and his wife.

Nine years ago, Carey took his first self-portrait dressed like a ballerina, and hilarity ensued. Since then, he has snapped more than 100 tulle-clad silly shots, from amusement parks to beaches, Times Square to Michigan.
